90's BORN (Our Movies)

Movies and our tashan after watching them was astounding if you look back to the memories. 90's movies were the best we experienced in terms of entertainment. Copying to the each and every style of the Hero of the movie. After watching the movie, I used to be one of the character  for few days performing the same genre in real life. I remember Amitabh Bachchan, Mithun Chakroborty, Rishi Kapoor, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ajay Devgan, Sunil Shetty, JackiShroff,Aamir Khan, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt were the kings of the industry and Manisha Koirala, Mamta Kulkarni, Kajol,Juhi Chawla, Meenakshi Shishadri,Raveena Tondon were the charm of the industry.
MY favourite genre was action and therefore Ajay Devgan, Sunny Deol, Akshay Kumar were my favourite and I became the action hero of the mohallah ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚. Also the KHALNAYAK, aka Sanjay Dutt created a huge buzz with his brilliant performance in VAASTAV...Remember....50 tolaaaaa?
I used to perform different actions on the grounds, mohallah and the dialouges, that too with same enthusiasm.
Karan Arjun was my favourite. 'Bhag arjun bhag', the iconic song 'ye bandhan to'.I remember the madness I had for the film. Shahrukh Khan was the favourite of every family member or you can say the 'Beta' of every mother. Everyone loved and blessed him. He was the only actor who made everyone cry by his performance and the same scenario continued in the early 2000. He made us feel the Romance and was bestowed with the title of THE KING OF ROMANCE. The iconic, trend setter and heart winning DILWALE DULHANIYA LE JAYENGE is a marvel and continues to be popular among the youths of the present decade as well. Its difficult to describe the emotions people feel for this gem. SRK was the icon and everyone copied him and tried to become the lover boy of the Mohallah.
Copying their styles, flirting, liking someone it was both amazing and funny. Just open the box of your memories and you will be smiling. The songs of the time were the best and I listen to those melodies today as well. Running for movies was difficult that time and so I started it in 2000 when I entered my teens and that was the beginning of love, action and drama. But the action happened twice, one which we did in the city and another which we got inside the house and trust me, the inside house action used to be more adventurous than outside.
I remember the robbery scenes from the movies and together with the gang, we used to perform it in the darkness on strangers using sticks and plastic guns as our weapons. Once I targeted my Uncle and 'jo sutai hui,ki andhera aankhon ke samne tha, or phir ujala nai hua'๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚.
Songs of our time was so fab that now they are in a que of remake. 'Koi na koi chahiye', 'tu cheejh badi hai mast mast'. Shyaris were epic in the movies and those shyari's helped a lot to impress the girls 'mujhe to apno ne loota gairon me kahan dum tha, meri kashti thi doobi wahan jahan pani kam tha'.Aamir Khan's 'jo jeeta wohi sikandar' was the motivation movie for us 'hari baazi ko jeetna jise aata hai'.
Family movies such as ' hum sath sath hain' hum aapke hain kaun', masterpieces from the Rajshree Productions, always brought the family together.  Salman Khan and his character PREM' was adored by everyone.I don't think such movies exist in this era.
The actual fun started when we started to escape with our group for movies and rest of the things which you will find in the next blog till then just smile with the sweet throwback of sweet movie memory.
