90's BORN

Realised during this quarantine period, how lucky we were to experience the warmth and essence of togetherness back in the 90s. Gathering for morning tea, breakfast, lunch, what is going to be prepared for evening snacks and who is going to prepare it and then dinner, planning for each other's taste, teasing each other, listening our elders talk about their youth  and childhood, laughter, fun, fight etc.The memories bring us close once again. Trust me, in these days we are going to create a box of memories and anyone can be diabetic after opening it.

We were born in the luckiest era of all time or you can say in 'the golden era'- the 90s. Today we are in our 20's and this blog is a throwback of how we journeyed. Everyone's life has different memories but those which I am going to put on,everyone will relate to them. Starting from today, I will give you your 14 best memories in these 14 days. The very first thing is ENTERTAINMENT. Only one Channel, DD National and the craziest moments it brought. Let's start:
1. Friday 9:30p.m movie😍, Single small TV, gathering with dinner. Every Single member of the family, watching it. It was so amazing, nobody moved even to drink water, everybody just passed the order and everyone got pissed off when the head of the family interrupted to shut down at just 10:30 or 11 because of school the next day and work and such other tricks which exist even today, however unlike the present time, everyone obeyed and went to bed ( although murmuring🙂 with one another). Saturday was almost same but movie ended because the next day was Sunday. We(little champs) never finished watching a movie because we always slept in between of it and mama, mummy, masi use to tease us in the morning😂😂😂...
'Readers comment on this... is it true and add the things which you have done'.
Oh I can't wait to write about our childhood Sundays. Guys I bet today's children don't spend it like we did. From morning to 7 P.M. evening, 'oho' I want to live it again. 'RANGOLI' 1 hour, loud sound, ladies enjoyed their work listening to the songs, others enjoyed tea with the gathering, we used to come from the playground for Rangoli and breakfast and at the same time, we used to be in rush for the next game🙃. CHANDRAKANTA 'KRUR SINGH' 'YAKUUUU' I don't thing anybody has forgotten, MAHABHARATA, RAMAYANA, SHREE KRISHNA . I remember Shree KRISHNA and CHANDRAKANTA being telecasted in the morning and confused a bit on MAHABHARATA and RAMAYANA's timing but I guess I have watched it. Children didn't wait for these on Sunday, rather they waited for their superhero SHAKTIMAAN, craziest serial among the children, how they managed to watch it only they know. Power cut issue was dealt by gathering at a friend's house which had secondary power source. All this endeavor so that not  a single scene was missed. ' Remember 90's BORNS' !!

And lastly the movie time which no one missed, evening snacks, tea, each and every family member, eldest to youngest😘😘. I am writing with a smiling face.Memories, togetherness, love everything was present then.
Today we are nuclear, don't have time to spend the same phase we spent. Today, we only blame. We don't even have time for the funerals. How fast life changed na. From togetherness to single, joint to nuclear. Everyone at this phase of lockdown must be remembering those days as the only channel of that time once again has started the telecast of Ramayana,Mahabharata and Shaktimaan which has taken everyone on a rewind journey to the 90s and everyone once again sit together to watch the epics and enjoy a happy family time and relive the memories of the 90s.
Some of the series which came into existence after SHAKTIMAAN was 'Shaka Laka Boom Boom' which created a huge craze by its uniqueness of magic pencil, whatever Sanju drew, it became real.  Having a pencil as Sanju had was every child's wish and the market offered a variety of  replica of that pencil.'Son Pari', a complete fairytale drama, was also loved by children.

HANG IN THERE...WE WILL RELIVE OTHER MEMORIES IN THE COMING BLOG.
